Monday, July 18. 2005Mike Goes to SydneyI got a BMW F650GS from Steve and the good people at Ozmoto, who took awesome care of me (don't let their website fool you. you don't have to know HTML to know bike rentals. Plus the pictures of the guy in full gear grocery shopping and doing the lawn are awesome). I highly recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Oz. They do rentals by the day or week, and will work around your schedule and location to make your trip happen. i also wholeheartedly recommend the BMW for such a trip. it's just the right mix of street for the fast stuff, but has enough suspension and a softer than average seat for the long, bumpy day you may have ahead of you. By the time you read this the 1150 should be back on the road, so you can pretend you're Ewan McGregor and say "hey this looks just like Scottland" a lot as you ride, but the 650 took great care of me. |

"well.. yeah." was my reply.
"you look at a map and a motorbike and you become hopeless.." was hers.
See you again.
