This isn't our usual content, but sometimes a stor This isn't our usual content, but sometimes a story is just too big to keep to ourselves. We have a new team member... meet Sabine Schmitz! 🏁🐾

She didn’t just wander into our lives, she burst onto the scene in the wildest way imaginable. I was teaching out at the track when, in the middle of a high-speed A-Group session, as all the bikes were diving hard into Turn 1... this tiny grey fluff ran straight onto the race line.

Cue instant panic, a rapid red flag, and a heart-stopping scramble to secure the track.

This brave little soul had somehow navigated a high-speed environment while dodging raptors, a fox family and race-fueled liter bikes. She was quickly scooped up, and, honestly, there was no way she was going to a shelter. A race-track cat needs a race track name; one that can match that spirit, so we named her after one of the absolute GOATs of speed and grit: Sabine Schmitz.

Since that day, Sabine has been growing at record-breaking speeds. But the best part? She has absolutely claimed Chase the Dog as her best friend. Despite the size and age difference, she adores him, and you’ll almost always find them hanging out together or napping between "sessions." 🐕🐈‍⬛

It’s a solid reminder that some of the best teammates are the ones that wander into your life when you least expect it. If you have the space, consider adoption. There are so many animals waiting for their own "green flag" moment.

Expect to see her making more cameos.

We finally fixed the fueling on the V4 Pikes Peak, We finally fixed the fueling on the V4 Pikes Peak, but the data we pulled during the test was a wake-up call.

We swapped the heavy factory plumbing for a LeoVince mid-pipe and corrected the fueling with an UpMap ECU flash. The bike is faster, louder, and lofts the front wheel with zero hesitation. But this wasn't a "free" upgrade.

No Sponsors. No Platitudes. Most of the content you see about exhaust systems is sponsored by the people selling them. They talk about "weight savings" and "soul," but they rarely talk about the actual data or the compromises required to get there.

We did the math on this build.
The Gains: Is the power increase actually usable on the street?
The Cost: It's more than just the $1,000 invoice. Look at the "hint" in the photo.
The Verdict: Is the time, energy, and environmental trade-off worth it for a street bike?

If you’re considering an UpMap or a mid-pipe for your V4, you need to see the data we pulled before you spend a dime. Watch the full, unsponsored breakdown Live, Friday morning!

Mitch Boehm from @ama_riding joins us to not only talk about why you should be a member of the AMA, but he'll share the wild stories from the golden era of motorcycle journalism and his time inside Honda R&D.

We’re diving into The $200,000 Risk: How one article on helmet safety standards cost the magazine a fortune in ads but changed the industry forever.

Developing Icons: Mitch's role in creating the CBR600 F2 and the secret evolution of the CBR900RR.

Wild West Stories: Racing Yamaha Venture Royales for a laugh and 125mph close calls.

Industry Integrity: The "pay to play" reality of modern media versus the old school "tell it like it is" philosophy.
